Islamabad Bank accounts of five major terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa have been resumed in Pakistan. It also includes Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai attack. Pakistani media claims that their accounts have been started after the approval of the Section Committee of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
The accounts of these terrorists were started
Apart from Hafiz Saeed, accounts of Lashkar and Jamaat terrorists Abdul Salam Bhutti, Haji M Ashraf, Yahya Mujahid and Zafar Iqbal have been opened. They are all UNSC listed terrorists. Hafiz was released from Lahore jail in May after being cited as a threat of corona infection. The remaining 4 terrorists are serving sentences ranging from 1 to 5 years in Lahore Jail in terms of funding. A report was filed against them by the Counter Terrorism Department of Punjab.
Everyone appealed to UNSC to start an account
The news agency quoted sources as saying that all the terrorists had requested the UNSC to resume their accounts so that they could run their families. It is being told that all these told the sources of their income to the Government of Pakistan, then this detail was sent to UNSC.
