Ellie Goulding has revealed how her addiction to exercise took over her life.
The singer, 33, candidly spoke about how she felt she had to go to the gym every day and would miss out on going to the studio or skip writing sessions to workout.
In an interview to The Sun, the 33-year-old singer revealed how she felt about going to the gym every day, according to the Daily Mail.com reported by Dot UK, how her husband and former Olympic rover Caspar Jopling told her Helped him overcome addiction.
Golding said, “I don’t consider myself an addictive person, but at one point I felt like I got into a gym addiction which was not ridiculous, I felt I had to go to the gym every day.”
He added, “I don’t know if it was a survival thing or not, because I used to get so tired from the tour and it’s so hard that it really affects your body and your mental health. I felt like It was essential to live that which is working all the time, it used to ensure that I stay superfit, super healthy and so I used to try to get most of the beverages instead of eating on the tour.
