Marvel Studios has not released the release date of the film, but the director confirmed that it will be a great project
After months of not giving information related to their new projects, Marvel Studios announced that Jonathan Majors will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU, for its acronym in English) to be part of “Ant-Man 3.”
According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” the 31-year-old actor will play Kang the Conqueror, a character who aims to be the next big villain in the MCU.
The third film of the hero played by Paul Rudd will be directed by Peyton Reed, who was in charge of “Ant-Man” (2015) and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” (2018); while the script will be written by Jeff Loveness, famous for his work on “Rick & Morty”.
Although Marvel Studios has not announced the release date of the film, the director confirmed that it will be a great project.
“The third ‘Ant-Man’ movie is going to be much bigger and more extensive than the first two. It will have a very different visual template.”
Kang the Conqueror is a supervillain created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who debuted in The Avengers # 8 in September 1964.
As his name implies, he is a conqueror from the 30th century and a descendant of Reed Richards.
He has other versions of himself throughout history, where he is also known as “Immortus”, “Iron Lad”, “Rama-Tut” and “Victor Timely”.
