UNITED STATES.- Kim Kardashian West joined the #StopProfitForHate campaign directed at Facebook and tells her followers that tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, she will suspend her Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Through its profile on Instagram, the socialite will protest against the spread of hatred and disinformation that divides the United States, especially at a time as crucial for that country as the elections for a new president.
“I cannot sit back and remain silent as these platforms (Facebook and Instagram) continue to allow the spread of hatred, propaganda, and disinformation, created by groups to sow division and divide America, only to take action after people die, “he wrote alongside a campaign flyer.
“Misinformation shared on social media has a serious impact on our elections and undermines our democracy.”
