Kathmandu Landslides caused by heavy rains in Nepal killed 10 people on Sunday. The death toll has now risen to 54. Landslides and floods have affected 19 districts of Nepal due to continuous heavy rains for the last three days.
According to the Home Ministry, 7 people died in Myagdi on Sunday, 2 in Jajarkot and 1 in Sindhupalchok. A Home Ministry official said that a total of 54 people have died due to landslides in the last 72 hours while 39 people are still missing. At the same time, 40 people have been injured. The army and police are involved in relief and rescue operations.
