Lockdown is being imposed once again in Uttar Pradesh and this ban will continue from 10 am on Friday night till 5 am on 13 July. In an attempt to control the growing Corona case in the state, Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari issued a lock down order.

In the midst of the Corona crisis, the weekend in Uttar Pradesh seems to be in lockdown. The corona case is increasing continuously in Uttar Pradesh and the Yogi government has announced a lockdown in the state on this weekend to curb the infection of the epidemic. Will it be closed
During the lockdown, markets, haats, Galla mandis and offices of all urban and rural areas of the state will be closed.
What will be open
There will be no restriction on essential services during lockdown. Essential services such as the supply of essential items related to health and medical services will continue to be supplied as before. There will be no restriction on the movement of people associated with these services.
Railway traffic will continue as before. Also, only UP State Road Transport buses will run in road transport.
Domestic and international air services will remain as before. Restriction on international flights still continues.
There will be no restriction on the movement of people associated with door-step delivery.
There will be no restriction on the movement of cargo vehicles during lockdown.
The movement of vehicles will continue on national and state roadways. Along with this, petrol pumps and dhabas located on their banks will also be open.
During this period, a massive campaign will be launched for cleanliness and clean drinking water supply from 10 to 12 July. There will be no restriction on the personnel involved in this campaign.
During the lockdown Covid Communicable Disease Surveillance Team is running a comprehensive medical screening and surveillance campaign of all the members living in every household, they will continue and the respective offices will be open.
All construction work related to expressway, major bridges and roads will continue.
Cases of corona infection are increasing continuously in the state. A record 1,248 new cases were reported in the state in the last 24 hours on Thursday. At present, the total number of active cases in the state has gone up to 10,373 while the number of people discharged properly is 21,127.
