‘New Girl’ director Lynn Shelton dies at 54

New Girl, The Fresh of the Boat, Little Fire Everywhere and Mad Man director Lynn Shelton died on Friday of a blood disorder. He breathed his last at the age of 54. Fans are paying tribute to him on social media.

Shelton campaigner Adam Kersh said in a statement Saturday that Lynn died of a blood disorder on Friday in Los Angeles. The 54-year-old actress-director was best known for directing the 2009 film Hampde.
Lynn wrote and directed nearly eight films in 14 years after making his film debut. Lynn Shelton is known as the leading voice of the independent American cinema movement. Mark Dupless remembers him saying on Twitter- We made a lot of things together.
Earlier, there was news of the demise of veteran actor Fred Willard. He breathed his last at the age of 86. Fred Willard acted as a comedian in many of Hollywood’s greatest films. He made audiences laugh with his comedy in several films like ‘This Is Spinal Tap’, ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy’.
