“The first batch of Sputnik V vaccine has passed the required quality test of the medical device regulator for prevention of new corona virus infection and the first batch has been released in civil circulation,” the ministry said in a statement. The first vaccine for COVID-19 was registered by the Russian Ministry of Health on 11 August. It was named Sputnik V.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin had hoped on Sunday that the majority of Moscow’s public would be given this medicine within a few months.
