Rishi Kapoor informed us all of his demise this morning. The veteran actor had received condolence messages from all. Now finally, Shahrukh Khan has sent a message of condolence.

Shahrukh took to his social media pages and shared a long message about how important Rishi Kapoor was to him in becoming an actor. See their message here:

Shahrukh also shared a picture of the two together from his film Ana Deewana. It was Shah Rukh’s first film, and a pat by Rishi Kapoor made him want to believe the actor he is. What a wonderful story. King Khan captioned the post, “Heartfelt condolences to the Kapoor family. May Allaah give you full strength to deal with your loss (sikai).

The sage left for his heavenly abode this morning and the whole world was left in a state of shock. His family issued a statement regarding the death. have a look:

Our beloved Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully in the hospital at 8:45 am today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff of the hospital said that they gave him the last entertainment.

He remained Jovial and was determined to live fully through two years of treatment in two continents. Family, friends, food and movies remained his focus and everyone visiting him was surprised at how he did not let his illness go away.

He was grateful for the love of his fans who came from all over the world. In his demise, they will all understand that he would like to be remembered with a smile and not with tears.

In this hour of personal loss, we also understand that the world is going through very difficult and troubled times. There are many restrictions around the movement and gathering in public. We would like to request all his fans and well-wishers and family friends to respect the laws which are in force.

He has no other way.
