Trump Recovered from Coronavirus and plans to campaign again

The president is expected to host a “virtual rally” on Friday by appearing on conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh’s radio show.

US President Donald Trump was preparing on Friday to return to the election campaign with a couple of rallies over the weekend , after his Covid-19 diagnosis left him out of the running for a week. for the White House against Democrat Joe Biden.

Trump, who announced a week ago that he had Covid-19 and spent three nights in a military hospital receiving treatment, said late Thursday that he was feeling “really fine” and that, with the blessing of his doctors, he was going to campaign in Florida on Saturday and in Pennsylvania on Sunday.

Trump’s illness has kept him from touring the country to gather support and raise money in recent weeks before the Nov.3 election. A return to public events would seek to convince voters that he is healthy enough to campaign and govern.

While Trump has posted several videos on Twitter, he has not appeared in public since returning to the White House on Monday. Biden has continued to campaign and will be in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday.

Guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say that people who are seriously ill with Covid-19 may need to stay home for up to 20 days after the first symptoms appear.

Biden, who has harshly criticized Trump’s handling of the pandemic, outperforms the Republican in polls, although that lead is smaller in some of the states that may determine the outcome of the election.

White House physician Sean Conley said in a statement released Thursday that Trump had completed his treatment for Covid-19, had been stable since leaving the hospital, and could resume public engagements on Saturday.
