YouTube is hosting its original show for free streaming to everyone amid the coronovirus epidemic. The video sharing service is opening access to more than a dozen YouTube originals, such as the Murder Mystery contest shows ‘Escape the Night’, ‘Step Up: High Water’, and ‘Impulse’, according to an online report. These shows are otherwise available only to those with a YouTube Premium membership. Free admission went live on Wednesday, April 8, and will remain in effect for a limited period. YouTube has not shared the exact date.
YouTube is offering the show to be free from the coronovirus epidemic, a part of YouTube’s premium subscription priced at Rs. 129 per month in India. Although people around the world are stuck at home due to the epidemic, the alphabet-owned video sharing service is joining other services in opening access to otherwise premium content.
“With a diverse collection of fan-favorite YouTube originals now available to stream for free, we’re continuing to promote security by offering our users of all ages entertainment around the world,” Susan Daniels, YouTube Global Head of Original Content told Variety
